Grid Analytics Europe 2016 drew together 120+ Data Science and Domain experts for a review of the most innovative analytics implementations within the European smart utility environment. DNV GL contributed to the program with one presentation and a tutorial.
Theo Borst, Head of Section Intelligent Networks & Communication at DNV GL, presented (together with Per Myrseth) the topic Data Correlation – effectively combining grid data with public data and social media data to maximise forecasting accuracy. Topics that were covered:
- Energy Data Analytics in general, tools and platforms and integration with existing infrastructure
- Smart Meter/MDM-based forecasting tools
- Integration of Social media data energy data analytics
Ivo Kuijlaars, Principal Consultant Intelligent Networks & Communication at DNV GL led a 2-hour interactive CIMTutorial: Fundamentals of CIM for big data integration and interoperability.
