This symposium is a chance for Belgium’s energy experts to discuss how the country’s energy landscape will evolve by 2050. Our goal is to lay the foundation for a collective picture on the directions Belgium needs to take and the decisions it needs to make to secure a thriving long-term energy future. To that end, we will be presenting the results of our Belgium energy landscape survey,an independent initiative by DNV GL. That survey is open until 20 October and, if you haven’t already done so, we ask you to take a few moments to share your views on this vital topic.
At this symposium we will discuss the ingredients that will shape the future of our energy sector. Together we will answer questions like: What is relevant for our Belgian energy market? What are the key drivers? What is feasible? Where do we see roadblocks?
DNV GL speakers will provide us with input for our strategy. Next, we will have a panel discussion with plenty of room reserved for debate and interaction. The FOD will also be joining us today, and will provide us with their reflections on the independent survey and discussions to close out the event.
