It has been 40 years of innovation since DNV Rules for Offshore Pipelines was first issued. The standard provides acceptance criteria and design procedures for submarine pipeline systems with 65% of all new projects globally now designed to it. Supporting the industry with R&D, DNV GL believes that innovation is key and greater collaboration and harmonisation is needed to develop new technical solutions.
Themed, “New Needs – New Ways”, the forum will address these key points:-
i. Is there room for innovation in today’s situation?

The forum will also include presentations by leading industry leaders, group work sessions and panel discussions covering the following topics:-
• Learnings from the past
• Industry collaboration and standardization
